Holiday students

Every year during the holiday season about 60 holiday students are employed by Evonik Degussa Antwerpen NV. They are employed in various departments.

The minimum age is 18 years, 17 years for administrative work.

The principle is that children of own employees are given priority for jobs where they have studied for.

For specific jobs, such as laboratory technician, helper in one of our workshops or in the production, we require that you study a relevant discipline. For example, you can only apply for a vacancy as laboratory assistant if you actually study chemistry. For these specific jobs, also other students (children of non-employees) are taken into account.

The selection takes place during the Easter holidays. At the end of May is announced who is qualified.
